David Vos and Peter Frumkin (previously of “THIS OLD HOUSE PRODUCTIONS”) filmed this great piece in our Davis Ave. shop before our expansion.

Local characters and delightful repairs are put on display in this lovely vignette.

Check out this great little interview from before our name change here.

“THE FIXERS”

The folks from WCVB's Chronicle, the ubiquitous New England culture diary, featured Village Green Renewal in May of 2011. Watch the video.

The first to pick up the story of Seth Barrett's repair shop was the local Brookline TAB - read the story.

CNN came to visit Village Green in 2009.  See what they found in this fabulous  CNN video they aired.

Taryn Plumb from the Boston Globe took notice of our shop and wrote this fantastic article about life at Village Green. Check it out here.

We are proud to be a major part of the volunteer driven restoration and weatherization of the building that houses the Brookline Community Foundation. These efforts have been spotlighted in the Brookline TAB, and the Brookline Community Foundation website.

Village Green Renewal won the "Best New Business, 2009" from the Brookline Chamber of Commerce and is, to date, a member in good standing.

In December, 2010 Brookline Patch did a feature piece on Seth Barrett and his role in the community.  Read the Patch article.

Village Green helps to raise funds for community organizations that are making a difference in Brookline. Read the articles that Brookline Patch and the Brookline TAB did to help publicize our efforts.

Seth is very honored to be recognized as a one of Brookline's Climate Change Pioneers.  Watch the video and learn about all the CCAB honorees and their efforts in our community.

Seth Barrett was a proud member of the Brookline Chapter of Rotary International for many years. Seth and Village Green Renewal are supporters of their good works locally and internationally including the Have A Heart Chocolate Extravaganza which raised critical funds for the Brookline Emergency Food Pantry:
